South Essex Rapid Transit (SERT)
The focus of this project will be to build on the work already done in partnership with Essex County Council to deliver an effective bus-based public transit system throughout South Essex. The first phase of SERT could link the airport with the town centre, via the A127 and any new Park & Ride facility. The focus of the project will be identifying feasible routes in Southend and working alongside all partners to secure the necessary funding to implement the project.
