Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has applied to the Department for Transport for a grant for proposed improvements to the junction of the A127 with Progress Road. The improvements will reinforce the proposed enhancements to the Progress Road Employment Area (click here for details) and relieve traffic congestion on the A127, Progress Road and The Fairway.
