New Theatre in Clifftown
The New Empire Theatre has a long history and is an important cultural anchor in the south west of Central Southend. The opportunity exists for the Theatre to be a base for a range of cultural activity and creative education, as well as remaining a home for the community groups that currently utilise it. Investment will be required to bring it up to the standard required to achieve this long-term vision.
