We are assisting Homes and Communities Agency and Southend-on-Sea Borough Council in preparing a Development Brief for each of the existing surface car parks in Clarence Road and Alexandra Street in Clifftown, to provide clear guidelines for future development and build on the distinct character of the Clifftown area, as a niche retail, restaurant and cultural location. Development will also strengthen the retail offer in the High Street, promote interaction between the town centre and seafront, and develop the evening economy. A start on site will be conditional upon relocating the existing public car parking to an alternative location in the town centre.

Retail/Commercial: 1,034 sqm
Office: 1,800 sqm

Car Parking: 17 spaces
The possibility of locating a new multi-storey car park on the Southend Central Station Car Park, in replacement of the existing public car parking, is being investigated through discussions with Network Rail and C2C.
